Egyptian Society of Analytical Chemistry The first international symposium was held in January 1984, aiming to attract the awareness of decision makers about the importance of Analytical Chemistry for National Development. That symposium was considered an outstanding forum for discussion of new and innovative processes, as well as, analytical techniques, developments and applications. The success of that symposium encouraged us to proceed further, where six symposia were held through the past 19 years. Speakers and Attendees came to the symposia from all over the world and shared the opportunity to present to an international audience, to participate in scientific discussions and social gatherings and to acquire the latest information about Analytical Science in National Development.
